Notary Services

We have a notary on staff available Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM. No appointments are necessary, but please call ahead. Please remember to bring your documents and a photo ID. The fee is $5.00 per document, and documents must be written in English.

Notaries are unable to certify the following:

  • Real estate closings – excluding home equity lines of credit or other loans secured by real property that do not require the issuance of a title insurance policy
  • Vital records (birth certificates)
  • Documents issued by the federal government (federal tax return, court orders, military records)
  • Documents recorded by the state
  • Public Notary Licenses
  • Petition pages
  • I-9’s
  • Judicial decrees
  • Any documents pertaining to wills or trusts
  • Affidavit for Power of Attorney
  • Any document where the signer does not appear to be in full control of their faculties

Print / Copy / Scan / Fax on 2nd Floor

  • Print/copy: $0.15 per side for black and white, $0.50 for color
  • Fax: $1.00 per page, outgoing only
  • Scan to USB or email: Free

Poster Printer

  • Large posters: $ 9.30, greater than 24″ by 18″ but equal to or less than 24″ by 36″ (matte paper)
  • Medium posters: $ 7.00, equal to or less than 24″ X 18″ (matte paper)
  • Email requests to posters@newmilfordlibrary.org.

Large Format Cold Laminator (24″ wide)

  • Laminator fees are $ .20 per inch based on the amount of plastic sheathing used. The Laminator is 24″ wide.

Mobile Printing – Print from Anywhere

You can easily print from your mobile devices, laptops, or home computers and then pick up your prints at the library during operating hours. Here’s how it works:

Homebound Services

The library is pleased to partner with the New Milford Senior Center to offer delivery and pickup of library materials to homebound New Milford residents. Please read our Homebound Services Policy to confirm your eligibility. Then, complete this form and email it to nmpl_ref@biblio.org or call the library at 860-355-1191, option 2 and we will assist you.
