What's Happening at NMPL

COMING IN THE FALL - During September and October 2015, volunteers from SCORE (an organization which helps small business people solve business problems through mentoring and education) will be conducting a series of 4 workshops here at NMPL on Thursday mornings at 8 AM. To see the full schedule, check out SCORE SCHEDULE. You may register for any or all presentations at our Calendar of Events. Also, please note that on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-4 PM at the New Milford Public Library you can meet one-on-one with one of the SCORE representatives. Summertime Fun is in full swing! We are having all kinds of excitement for all ages from K - 12! Check out all these programs at The Summer Reading Program for Kids, Special Summer Programs for Children and Tweens and Teens.

New for Kids! – From Preschool to Early Primary -with more than 3,500 learning activities and 450 lessons, is the most comprehensive early learning curriculum available online - Come in and set up an account and check it out!! (Note: Access is available only in library, not from home)

New For Teens! - Come have fun with our new Maker Camp and make this the best summer ever! Maker Camp is an online summer camp for kids in Grades 4-8 who are interested in hacking, technology, DIY projects, crafting, and learning.  On Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30 PM we are presenting 4 fun-filled sessions: July 16: Funkytown, July 23: Farmstead, July 30: Fun & Games, August 6: Flight.
